I believe in the fluidity and ever-evolving nature of the self. My identities have shaped my understanding of how privilege and marginalization impact our experience. I’m dedicated to supporting clients in their healing while recognizing how past traumas and oppressive systems affect our sense of self, belonging, agency, and safety.
Growing up as a biracial child of an immigrant, I’ve contended with balancing multiple worlds while seeking a sense of place. My lived experience has been influenced by the interplay of dual cultures and multiple identities. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for multicultural perspectives, subverting oppressive dominant ideologies, and the transformative power of community.
I’m passionate about working with clients who are queer, BIPOC/multiracial, and/or neurodivergent who value deep reflection. I welcome transgender, non-binary, gender expansive, and non-monogamous individuals. I also invite all those dedicated to their personal growth within the broader context of collective liberation.
To relax, I like to rewatch Ghibli films and refresh my space with rearrangements. I enjoy listening to records, exploring farmers markets, and multitasking chores with audiobooks and podcasts. I love immersive projects like knitting and baking. Outdoors, I enjoy bike rides as well as hikes with my dog, Roux. My cat Tsuki’s tail sometimes makes an appearance in my virtual sessions.
I grew up in Seattle (Coast Salish land), spent half a year of high school in France, and attended college in Tokyo. English is my primary language, but I speak Japanese comfortably and am conversational in French.
